Lembram-se da icónica atriz britânica Audrey Hepburn usando pérolas? Quem não assistiu ao filme “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”?!

As pérolas têm simbolizado a realeza e o poder. De acordo com a história, a rainha Cleópatra queria mostrar a Mark Antony o quão rica e poderosa era na época. Então, ela colocou um enorme brinco de pérola dentro de uma taça cheia de vinagre de vinho, onde foi derretido, bebendo a mistura à frente de Antony.

Os designers de moda e jóias de hoje estão mudando ativamente a imagem da pérola para tornar a gema a imagem da firmeza. Eles têm uma visão para o futuro das pérolas, especialmente quando se trata da geração “millennials”. É muito mais do que colares de pérolas e brincos. 

E, claro, muitas delas são imitação, sendo então mais acessíveis!

Do you remember the iconic British actress Audrey Hepburn wearing pearls? Did you watch the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” movie?

Pearls have been symbolic of royalty and power. According to history, Queen Cleopatra wanted to show Mark Antony just how wealthy and powerful she was at the time. So, she placed one very large pearl earring in a goblet filled with wine vinegar, where it was melted down. She then drank the concoction, right in front of Antony.

The fashion and jewelry designers of today are actively changing the image of the pearl to make the gem the image of firmness. They have a vision for the future of pearls, especially when it comes to millennials. It’s about much more than pearl necklaces and earrings. 

And of course, many of them aren’t real pearls, so are more affordable!
